"BAD EXPERIENCE with this company!!! I left two important messages October 15, 2024, one first thing in the morning and another late afternoon (before closing) as they apparently don't answer their phone. I explained it was critical to call me back by the end of the day because I needed to have the protocol of having my car towed and being reimbursed, as I have towing on my policy and an appointment to have my car repaired first thing the next morning. They never called me back that day. Then at 8:30 the next morning I still had not received a call, so I risked driving my car, which needed repair, to the State Farm office to find out the protocol for towing. The secretary was working with papers on her desk and obviously could have easily called me that morning, so I wouldn't have had to drive a half broken down car. Instead she was doing paper work. No customer there and she wasn't on the phone. I asked why she hadn't called me back in over 24 hours when she obviously had time to. She claimed the reason she hadn't called the day before was because they were so busy. That was a lame excuse, as it was obvious I was purposely ignored because they were going to have to reimburse me for the towing, and of course they wouldn't like doing that, so the easy way out was just to ignore me. I could have ruined my car by driving it. Yet I had no choice, in order to get an answer. My agency did not follow the slogan they go by which is "like a good neighbor State farm is there" They were the opposite of a good neighbor. If they really had been a good neighbor they would have taken 2 minutes to call me back, even if it meant staying late for 2 minutes. And even if they argued they couldn't do that, I caught the secretary red-handed working away the very next morning - still without calling me when she could have. I always had my phone with me and the volume turned up, yet no call. I think their philosophy is they will call you back if they are able to make money from it and it benefits them. Otherwise they leave you to fend for yourself. Horrible customer service! Headquarters should be notified about this, as I'm sure I'm not the first they've done this to, and won't be the last. I have paid so much over the years and never had a claim, so it's the least they could have done and would have only cost them $80. I've likely paid them tens of thousands, and this is how I was treated. Injustice!"
